cohealth offers high quality, bulk-billed medical services with highly skilled and experienced male and female doctors. Get access to doctors with special interests including refugee health, drug and alcohol, mental health, travel medicine, children’s health and managing chronic conditions – with a focus on care planning and case conferencing.
Our doctors work closely with cohealth’s wider community health and support services to provide wrap-around care.

MyMedicare is a free and optional new program that offers extra benefits to Australians with a Medicare card or Department of Veterans’ Affairs Card.
If you’ve had face-to-face sessions with your usual GP at cohealth at least twice in the last two years, you can register for MyMedicare and nominate them as your preferred doctor. Learn more about MyMedicare.

We encourage clients to discuss out-of-hours options with their doctor. They can be arranged at the doctor’s discretion.
Doctors in cohealth practices may be contacted during normal practice hours. A message will be taken and our client services officers will tell you when it is likely that the doctor will return your call. Your call will always be put through to the doctor or nurse in an emergency, and the calls will be screened by the client services officer who may ask you some questions.

From time to time, some cohealth locations are unable to make appointments for new clients due to high demand. Please call your preferred location to find out more.

On weekdays, medical services at cohealth are bulk billed for:
On weekends, services come at a cost of a $25 co-payment. The full cost will be between $40 and $160. You will get this back except for $25.
All other clients will be charged a co-payment of $25 per visit on weekdays and $45 on weekends.
Clients who do not hold a Medicare card will be required to pay the full amount on the day, no rebate applies.
